Delhi Election 2025 LIVE: Voting for the Delhi assembly elections to elect a 70-member House is underway with 46.55% voter turnout recorded till 3 pm. The polling will continue till 6 pm across 13,766 polling stations in the national capital, with AAP, Congress, and BJP engaged in a fierce triangular contest.
PM Modi in a post on X urged the youth to vote and participate in the “festival of democracy”.
13,766 polling stations in all 70 assembly constituencies will decide the fates of 699 candidates. In the city, 1.56 crore citizens are eligible to vote, including 83.76 lakh men, 72.36 lakh women, and 1,267 from the third gender.
Over 30,000 police personnel and 220 companies of paramilitary forces have been deployed across Delhi to ensure a fair and smooth voting process.

BJP candidate from the Seelampur Assembly constituency, Anil Gaur claimed that there have been cases of voter fraud in the seat.
“These 300-400 fake voters have been brought from Loni in Uttar Pradesh, I feel like they are Bangladeshis, there are both men and women. We caught 25 people, there is bogus voting happening here, and we have stopped it. Kejriwal is doing bogus voting,” he added.
