The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) has released the results of Class 10 and Class 12 board exams 2025 officially. Percentage: 98.83%

2.Aditya Sharma – 2nd Rank

Marks: 589/600

Percentage: 98.17%

School: Ramakrishna Public School, Varanasi

Strengths: Aditya got full marks in Science and Social Science. He wants to be a civil servant and loves reading history.

3.Simran Yadav – 3rd Rank

Marks: 588/600

Percentage: 98%

School: St. Joseph’s Inter College, Lucknow

Remarks: A first-generation learner from her family, Simran’s commitment has been inspirational. She’s eager to study engineering.

Class 12 Toppers 2025 – Merit List & Marks

More than 25 lakh students had appeared in the Class 12 exams, in three streams: Science, Commerce, and Humanities. Toppers demonstrated exceptional uniformity and depth of understanding in subjects.

Top 3 Rank Holders in Class 12 (Overall):

1.Rishabh Singh – 1st Rank (Science Stream)

Marks: 489/500

Percentage: 97.8%

School: Kendriya Vidyalaya, Prayagraj

Highlights: Rishabh topped Physics and Chemistry with 100 marks each. He wants to be an AI researcher and has already cracked JEE Advanced with flying colors.

2.Shreya Mishra – 2nd Rank (Commerce Stream)

Marks: 487/500

Percentage: 97.4%

School: City Montessori School, Lucknow

Strengths: Shreya was outstanding in Accountancy and Economics with 99 each. She wants to be a Chartered Accountant.

3.Sadaf Khan – 3rd Rank (Humanities Stream)

Marks: 485/500

Percentage: 97%

School: Gandhi Girls Inter College, Moradabad

Achievements: Sadaf, who is a poet by heart, got 100 in Political Science and Sociology. She’s going to do a degree in Political Science from DU.

Gender-Wise Performance

Surprisingly enough, girls edged out boys this year as well. In Class 10, girls had a pass percentage of 92.45%, followed closely by boys at 88.67%. Likewise, girls had a pass percentage of 91.23% in Class 12, leaving boys with 87.89%.

Region-Wise Highlights

Lucknow, Kanpur, and Varanasi stood out as top-performing districts for both Class 10 and 12 exams.

Rural schools reflected a dramatic improvement in pass percentages and enrollment due to specific efforts by the UP Government on digital learning materials and teacher training.

English-medium schools boasted greater average scores, particularly in Science and Commerce streams.

UPMSP Secretary Dibyakant Shukla commended the work of both teachers and students:

“This year’s results reflect the resilience and hard work of students who overcame challenges of digital learning and limited access to coaching. Our focus on qualitative improvement in education is showing results.”

The Education Minister, Gulab Devi, added:
